Healthy Eyes Start at Great Hills Eye Care
When you think of a comprehensive eye exam, you probably imagine reading the letters on an eye chart.
While this is a part of every eye exam at Great Hills Eye Care, we also update your prescription, look for signs of eye disease, assess how well your eyes work together, and look for opportunities to make your vision more comfortable for everyday living.
The health of your eyes is also an indicator of other systemic health conditions, which makes eye exams an essential part of maintaining your overall health.

How Often Do I Need an Eye Exam?
Regular eye exams help you see clearly and comfortably throughout your life. Even if you don’t wear glasses or contact lenses, eye exams can protect you against sight-threatening conditions and improve your ocular comfort.
We recommend receiving an eye exam once a year, but your optometrist can tell you what’s best for you and your health when you come in for your next appointment.
What to Expect
Pre-Testing
We start by taking pre-testing measurements of your eyes and gathering information about your medical history and lifestyle. This allows us to tailor your exam to your specific needs.
The Exam
We’ll begin your exam after pre-testing. We’ll perform tests, readings, and in-depth scans of your eyes to get a better understanding of your vision and ocular health.
Recommendations
Once your exam is complete, we’ll discuss the results with you and begin creating a personalized treatment plan based on your needs. We offer a wide range of corrective services and treatments including dry eye therapy, laser vision correction co-management, myopia control, and much more!
