Great Hills Eye Care is growing! We are excited to welcome the newest member of our dedicated team of optometrists, Dr. Monica Do.
Dr. Monica Do was born in New York and grew up in Round Rock, Texas. She went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Biology followed by her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Texas Optometry Board as a therapeutic optometrist.
During her optometry education, Dr. Do gained experience in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, fitting specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and providing primary care during her clinical internships at University of Houston Eye Institute, a community eye clinic in Dallas, and a private practice in Austin. There, she honed her clinical skills and developed a patient-centered approach, ensuring the highest level of care for her patients.
When not in clinic, Dr. Do enjoys keeping up-to-date with the newest trending TV shows and movies, reading her kindle, and spending time with her loved ones.
Dr. Do will be seeing patients primarily in our North Austin location. She works closely with Dr. Provost, Dr. Carneglia, Dr. Tillotson, and Dr. Patel to uphold our practice’s high standard of care. Our goal is to be the best and most trusted eye care team in Austin.
