Great Hills Eye Care is growing! As many of you are aware, we added a second location of our practice to the brand-new Pflugerville Costco last year. We are now excited to welcome the newest member of our dedicated team of optometrists, Dr. Ashish Patel.
Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Houston School of Optometry and is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist
Dr. Ashish Patel earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station. He then attended the University of Houston School of Optometry where he obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Patel is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Texas Optometry Board.
Dr. Patel completed his clinical internships at Audie L. Murphy Veterans Affairs hospital in San Antonio and Vision Source in Alamo Heights where he worked with optometrists and ophthalmologists in the management of a range of ocular diseases including chronic dry eyes, ocular allergy, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Central Texas Optometric Society.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, watching TV shows and taking his dog to the park.
Dr. Patel will see patients primarily in our Pflugerville location and works directly with Dr. Provost and Dr. Carneglia to uphold our high standards of patient care. Our goal every day is to provide the best eye care in Austin. We are so thankful for your support and your trust in our practice.
